Junhyung: 'It has ended'. (laughs) I have to gather the 6 members every month, and recording the song under a good (voice/body) condition is really difficult. But all the members did it sincerely.
Yoseop: This is like the more difficult it gets, the more reward you will get. The ability to understand songs become stronger too. As a singer, it's a growth that allows us to improve ourselves.
Dujun: I think, the next time I want to have a big project, I have to think through carefully and give it more thoughts.
March can be said to be a huge achievement, the sales of the album in addition to 'Guess Who' being recorded also right.

like to correct?
Dujun: For my part, (the rumours I have) are better than the
reality, so there is nothing I would like to correct (laughs)
Interviewer: (laughs) For example, you have all heard before
that Junhyung’s stamina isn’t too good right.
Dujun: (immediately answer) It is the truth. When he play
soccer he runs out of energy very quickly too. (Everyone bursts into laughter)
Junhyung: I just don’t spend my energy on exercising. I use
it on other important thing!
Dujun: I see (laughs) But, Junhyung is the kind of man who
will devote all his efforts into it if he want to do something. His team spirit
is better than Dongwoon too.
Dongwoon: ?!
Yoseop: What kind of rumours are there still?
Hyunseung: Won’t specifically go and verify if there is
rumours or not. In the beginning, I am someone who won’t be too concerned about
rumours, because I feel that if people want to believe in things that are
different from the truth, then just let them be.
From now, thinking back to the tour last year.
Dongwoon: We feel very happy at every performance. What was
unexpected was the audience’s reaction of ‘Hands up’. When I was recording it,
I didn’t expect it to be such an exciting song. Everyone was really enjoying it
to the fullest! So the song’s ranking in my heart also chu~~~ went up.
Gikwang: It was an astonishment on our heart. Everyone
singing together, was really touched by it!
Junhyung: Really? When I was choosing this song, I did feel
that yep~ This song would be rather exciting.
Dujun: It indeed is.
Yoseop: During the live, we tried our best to communicate
with everyone in Japanese and seeing everyone like it so much, I feel very
happy too. All the members tried their best in their capability of Japanese
language to carry out the communication, though we do not know if we did well
or not, but we sincerely want to communicate with the fans, so we did it very
seriously.
Junhyung: The Japanese phrase that I used most is ‘Help me’.
When I don’t understand any Japanese words, I will say these words to Dongwoon.
Dongwoon: I helped you a lot (laughs)
Yoseop: In our free time, I played soccer and went to take a
stroll around the concert venue. I also went to the Shrine Island. It is a
really cool place with great ambience.
Dongwoon: Indeed a tour is really interesting. This year
too, I wish to go to many other places to hold a tour.
Yoseop: Such as Okinawa!
Junhyung: I want to do things that can allow us to be closer
with the fans. Even if it’s not big scale it doesn’t matter too.
Dujun: In order to fulfill all the different ideas, we have
to increase our talent/capability more more more.
Gikwang - Want to return to the heart of trainee time, so I changed my
perfume
Gikwang: Speaking of ‘change’, I recently changed to Calvin
Klein’s CK1 perfume. This is during my trainee time, the first perfume that I
have ever used in my life. In the future, I want to not forget the feeling I
have at that time (trainee period), and go and have my practice.
His honest personality
is the same when it comes to love too. When asked about the solution to when
love gets tiring between 2 persons,
Gikwang: When that period (of 2 persons getting tired of
each other) comes, doesn’t it mean both of them have spent a long time together
with each other? So, in comparison to finding another love that makes their
heart race, the 2 persons should talk about why their hearts have left, and to
remember that heart racing feeling again, isn’t it better if both of them work
hard together?
Now, the thing that he
want to change is his room decoration.
Gikwang: But before that, I will have to tidy it up
properly. Every time Dujun come over, he would always say ‘If I don’t climb
over your mountains of shoes, I will never be able to reach my destination’
(laughs). I know where all my things are, so I have never felt troubled by it,
I will begin by pushing down my mountains of clothes and shoes.
Hyunseung - Don’t want too much changes, want to work hard in
maintaining a youth’s heart
Hyunseung who said
‘I’m a style who don’t want too much changes’, is an unexpected answer,
thinking of how he performed so freely on stage. From the start of a dance that
contains anger, to the playful side of him who was running and jumping here and
there, his performance is constantly giving us surprise.
Hyunseung: I don’t want to grow old, ever. Or should I say I
want to carry the heart of a youth? Even though it is hard to explain, to a
singer, I don’t think knowing the ways of the world is necessary a good thing.
If he were to start a
new life, his ideal living destination is,
Hyunseung: L.A. Won’t be controlled/restricted, it should be
a life that I can enjoy. If I have a new life, the thing that I feel will be
useful to me is, a steam inhaler. My family would always help in cleaning, I
barely used it before (laughs).
Regarding the period
of relationship when 2 persons get tired of each other
Hyunseung: If I am in that kind of relationship, I will give
up and I will break up too. Before the relationship turns into that way,
honestly communicating (with the partner) or creating more time for both
parties to spend together.
Yoseop - First solo trip of my life, even my thoughts have changed
Yoseop’s thinking
towards life has a huge change, because he went to Saipan for a trip alone last
year.
Yoseop: Realize that the world is such a huge place, not
everyone will be concerned or make judgement about me.
Constantly receiving
attention, so even in normal times, are there things that caused you to feel
depressed too?
Yoseop: It’s not that. When I was determined to become an
idol, I also have the realization that I must be prepared to give up a part of
my private life. But I am the kind who would constrain myself. In my trip, I
was thinking if I can allow my heart to be more comfortable too.
Right now, it’s the
third year of living alone.
Yoseop: Won’t be changing my place of residence. When I
picked a wishing plaque in Shrine Island, it stated that it is best that I
don’t move house. Even though I don’t completely believe in this, since it
already is written, I more or less would take it to heart (laughs).
Lastly, if you fall
into the period of relationship when 2 persons get tired of each other
Yoseop: Then it can’t be helped too…… I would feel it too as
I am working hard. At that point of time we would have to return to the
beginning. It is the same for love too. If we can return to that
heart-fluttering moment when we first met each other, are we able to get out of
that period (when 2 persons get tired of each other) too?
Junhyung - Even girlfriend is in a bad mood… Won’t do anything, just
wait (laughs)
If you can freely move
house now, where would you want to move to?
Junhyung: I will live well at the place where I moved house
last year (laughs) Recently I keep listening to piano melodies. I bought a home
theatre system, the sound is very soft and beautiful, it is a great healing. If
I have a second home, I like Daikanyamachō in Japan, Tokyo. It is very new,
when you’re free there are many cafes that you can rest in too.
Then, let’s talk about ‘Junhyung’s way of appeasing lover?
Junhyung: Naturally (laughs) Feel like the more I do
something, the more it’ll be like empty efforts, bringing adverse effect. My
mum said the same thing too, based on her experience, if a lady were to throw a
tantrum, other than letting her to settle her mood herself, there is no other
method. So, until she cool down, I will keep~~~~~~~ on waiting.
Speaking about your
goal, it is a man with ‘heart=youth, action=old man’.
Junhyung: It a senior whom I know who said it. That moment
you forget your child-like heart, your creativity will disappear too. To me,
that is a very scary thing.
Dujun - If I want to change my mood, gathering my friends together to
play online game!
Changing his computer
last year end, Dujun who is currently enjoying online games.
Dujun: Bought the most high-performance computer in Korea!
When I want to change my mood, not thinking about anything, just purely playing
games is the best. In our house, gathering all my friends and playing a game
together is my dream, so I have a lot of computers in a room. An image of a lot
of guys being keen (to play games) together, like the dorm of pro-gamers.
Your gaming talent is
of a pro level, but when it comes to love, there seems to be a little
distance….
Dujun: The period where 2 persons get tired of each other is
like a bomb being detonated in a relationship? Playing soccer together or…? Ah,
this is the kind of answer that drives ladies crazy right. Please teach me the
method (to not let ladies go crazy).
Then, the song that
Dujun thinks causes a change for BEAST?
Dujun: ‘Clenching a Tight Fist’. At that point of time, the
members and I have gotten a little in the phrase of being tired of each other.
Because I sang this song, I thought of ‘Let’s work harder’. It’s a song that I
cherish a lot.
Dongwoon - Not forcefully making changes in emotion, putting them into a
song is important too
A song that cause
BEAST to change, I chose
Dongwoon: ‘Bad Girl’. It is a song that turns us from
trainees into official singers. Even though we didn’t get to sing the song
recently, but if we can rearrange it again and show it to everyone again.
Even if it’s a period
of stagnant, don’t wish to force yourself to make any changes in your mood,
wish to immerse in that sort of mood.
Dongwoon: Be it enjoying, or a stagnant moment, to feel each
and every moment is very important. So I think that it is important to put
these sort of emotions into song. As a man to somebody, my family and members
are very precious. I don’t want to change the thought of the belief that you
shouldn’t raise your hand at a lady too.
The thing you change
recently is your hair shampoo.
Dongwoon: For my future, I changed it to an anti-hairfall
shampoo. I bought 5 bottles at one go (laughs). But I just started using it, so
I am not sure of the results too. I also bought an Aroma Warmer with lighting
function. Before that in Japan hotel I used a diffuser, but it was detected by
the smoke detector device. A scent that can ease your fatigue is the smell of
the ocean, and baby powder.
